SIL Vacancies

Our SIL Process

At Meraki Care Services we take the utmost care to understand each individual, to provide the best experience with us. We ensure high-quality support tailored to the needs of the individual participants through constant communication, feedback and reviews.

To ensure you receive the best support available within your plan, we walk you through the following processes:

  • Upon receipt of your enquiry, a team member will contact you to discuss our available options and arrange a suitable time to view our properties with your family member.
  • If suitable accommodation is decided, we will then organise a “meet & greet” with any other co-tenant and yourselves.
  • Once agreed upon, a moving date will be decided and we will work with the Support Coordinator to organise a stakeholder meeting, involving current Allied Health and other Service Providers to gain as much information as possible to enable a smooth transition into the SIL home. This will also enable us to work together with the team to achieve the maximum benefit from the NDIS plan.
  • Upon completion of all the relevant documentation, our Staff will be on board to welcome you into your new home.

  • Client Focused – We take the time to understand your needs and build your team of Support Workers based on your choices and needs.
  • Consistency of support – Once your team is built around you, we ensure consistency, and our teams can support clients for any length of time needed.
  • Flexibility of Support – We can work together with external providers if you wish to bring your favourite support worker with you for Community Access.
  • Lower ratio of 1:2/1:3 participants per house. This also depends on the size of the house; therefore, participants get maximum privacy in spacious houses.
  • Strong recruitment process – All our staff are screened and hold the necessary documents to enable them to work as a Disability Support Worker.
  • Trained Staff – We provide client specific training and mandatary ongoing training via our Learning Management System to upskill our care workers on a regular basis.
  • SIL home cars – Each of our SIL homes has their own car available for transportation to appointments and outings. We also have a 12-seater bus for group outings.
  • On-call Registered Nurse – Our SIL homes have access to an on-call RN for any medical issues or urgent concerns.
  • Accommodation – Modern, well-presented SIL homes awaiting someone to make it their home.
  • Group Outings – We plan and organise group outings with fun activities for all our participants to engage in.
